As runners make the turn onto South Battery, they’re met with the scenic vistas of White Point Gardens before heading onto Murray Blvd, offering a picturesque view of the Fort Sumter House. The route then circles back, guiding participants onto King Street, where Charleston’s charm is on full display. Amidst the southern elegance of the Miles Brewton House and the William Aiken House, runners are also treated to the sights and sounds of King Street’s bustling antique shops and boutiques. The final stretch leads to the west side of Marion Square, where the Finish Line awaits in front of the Francis Marion Hotel, marking not just the end of the race but the culmination of a cherished community tradition.
